Is your electrical contractor a liability in electrical safety or arc flash exposures?

Employees can’t sue their employers in most cases of injury unless the company shows negligence but a contractor on your site doesn’t have that same binding issue because they aren’t YOUR employee. Consider higher quality contractors. NECA has warned its members that they should think about this. Quality contactors can’t just look at price or quality of work. The MUST look at quality of their safety programs, safety training and practices of their workers in the field.

See the NECA article.
