A teen from Georgia was electrcuted while working for his family’s plumbing business. The teen was working on a water leak in the crawl space of a home. He touched electrical wires while lying in water from the leaking pipe. He died about an hour after the accident from cardiac arrest. Click here to read more [...]

A teenager from Muncie was electrocuted when a camper behind his home became charged after an electrical wire was run from the house to the camper. The teen was electrocuted when he stepped from the wet ground to the metal camper step. Click here to read more about Indiana fatality

The 39-year-old miner with 22 years of mining experience was electrocuted while welding two pipes together. He evidently contacted an energized welding electrode and was electrocuted. The MSHA is investigating the incident. Click here to read more about the WV Mining Incident

Two teenage workers detasseling corn were electrocuted when they came into contact with the irrigation system. Both victims were 14 year old females. Two other nearby workers were shocked. The apprentice, a 26 year-old female, was working on an electrical remodel with two journeymen in Anchorage when she sustained a shock and subsequently fell approximately nine feet. The cause of her death has yet to be determined. Click here to read more about death of an electrical apprentice

The electrocution of a 47 year old Sussex man was ruled accidental by a jury after hearing evidence regarding the incident which took his life. A 21 year old employee of Natures Way Foods, a food processing plant, was pronounced dead at the scene after touching a live wire while working in the roof space of the West Sussex plant. The cause of the incident is still under investigation. Click here to read more about Electrical Fatality
